Pixels to Paint and Beyond

This succesful exhibition of original art work featured work by Vilma Nyss, Ann Smith and Barbara Taylor-Harris.  These three mixed media artists were inspired by photographs taken from Chris Hartnoll's photographic book 'Moods of Rutland Water. They interpreted Chris's photographic images in a variety of media to produce exciting original paintings.

The very successful exhibition was held at the Victoria Hall Gallery in Oakham from the 29th september to 12th October 2007.  This slide show takes you on a picture tour round the exhibition towards its end. Oakham has lots of visitors and the three artists sold work from the walls and replaced this with other work so the exhibition changed over the two weeks.
